Esperanza High School’s Army Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program provides students with opportunities to develop leadership, discipline, responsibility, citizenship, and teamwork through hands-on learning, physical training, and community service.
Recently, Esperanza’s JROTC cadets demonstrated their leadership and commitment to service by presenting the nation’s colors at the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District’s Women in Industry event, a school pep rally, and the Homecoming football game.
In addition to their ceremonial responsibilities, cadets participated in a team-building barbecue organized by JROTC instructor Officer Randle. The gathering provided an opportunity for students to strengthen relationships, foster camaraderie, and celebrate their shared commitment to the program.
Through these experiences, Esperanza High School’s JROTC cadets continue to demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and school pride while developing valuable skills that extend beyond the classroom.
