Each year, Valadez Middle School Academy in Placentia participates in a service project to raise money for a local organization. This effort ties in with the school’s Read for the Record book, which this year, is centered around community.
“We would like to raise money and donate to local groups that help our community, Lot 318 and H.I.S. House,” shared principal, Cuco Gracian.
Jumpstart’s Read for the Record is a national campaign to bring young children together with valued grownups in their lives to read the same book, on the same day, in communities all over the world. Valadez’s event will take place on Thursday, October 25 this year.
Great job, Eagles!
