Three El Dorado Seniors Perform in the 2025 Rose Parade

Three seniors from El Dorado High School were selected to participate in the prestigious Pasadena City College (PCC) 225-member Honor Band and marched in the 2025 Rose Parade on Wednesday, January 1. Logan Johnson (Alto Saxophone), Ben Jones (Baritone Saxophone), and Alan Juarez (Clarinet) earned their places in the ensemble after being chosen from a competitive pool of more than 500 applicants. The PCC Honor Band, which includes college students serving as leaders alongside high school musicians, features performers ranging in age from 14 to over 60.

Recognized as “The Official Band of the Tournament of Roses,” the PCC Honor Band maintains a longstanding tradition of excellence. In addition to their Rose Parade performance, the three El Dorado High School students, showcased their talent during a series of events leading up to the parade. These included a performance at Disneyland on Friday, December 27, one Bandfest on Sunday, December 29, and two additional Bandfest appearances on Monday, December 30. Way to go Hawks!
