Glenview Elementary School scholars celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 22-26 with a week filled with special festivities around the theme of “Life Is a Journey – Travel Drug Free!”
Students kicked off the week by pledging to “show respect” to their lives by signing their names to hand cut, red hearts posted on a special school-wide bulletin board created by Glenview’s PTA.
Glenview’s school campus welcomed students on Monday, adorned with red ribbons tied along fences and heart-shaped positive affirmations hanging from trees.
Students celebrated the week’s theme by dressing up in red, as tacky tourists, and for crazy hair day, with some many creative innovations to name just a few!
