Parent participants in OC GRIP Greeter Program recognized for their efforts

On Tuesday, May 21, a group of Melrose and Topaz Elementary School parents received awards for their tireless work as apart of the OC GRIP Greeter Program. As a result, the families were treated to breakfast courtesy of the program’s sponsor — the Orange County District Attorney’s Office.

Day after day, these parents welcome every student and family that comes onto the Melrose and Topaz campuses with a warm welcome and a smile. They are a great asset to both of the schools’ communities, and continuously stride to make a difference in their student’s lives. Melrose and Topaz appreciate their parent greeters!

OC GRIP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) that supports the initiatives of the GRIP (Gang Reduction Intervention Partnership) program in the Orange County District Attorney’s Office with the support of over 200 partners in 13 cities, including police departments, probation departments, and more than 100 private businesses and non-profit organizations.
