Parkview School held their 2019 commencement ceremony on Tuesday, June 11, in the Auditorium at Valencia High School. The school awarded 19 seniors their high school diploma, as well as promoted 27 eighth grade students.

To begin the ceremony, Parkview students lead the flag salute, while four graduating seniors sang the national anthem. Principal Hardin then welcomed those in attendance.
Parkview’s eighth graders were recognized first with various awards, scholarships, and then their promotion certificates.
Parkview seniors, Hannah Frey, Olivia Zonni, Andrew Caballero, and Jessica Wills-Plisko then delivered various student addresses in front of an energetic crowd of fellow graduates, loved ones, and staff members.
Before receiving their diplomas, Parkview students were awarded various scholarships including the Presidential Awards, the Alice Hetland Scholarship, the P.L.U.M. Award, the SchoolsFirst Scholarship, and the Placentia Women’s Round Table Scholarship.
Vice President Padget then accepted the Parkview Class of 2019 as having met all the necessary requirements in order to earn their high school diplomas! Notably, of those graduating seniors, 70% will be moving on to attend a college, university, or trade school following high school. Congrats, Panthers!
