PYLUSD Girl Scouts honored with Silver and Gold Awards

On Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Yorba Linda Community Center, a Girl Scout ceremony was held to celebrate 20 Silver Award recipients and 5 Gold Award recipients. These girls committed to projects that would enhance their communities and beyond and dedicated between 50-80 hours each to complete them. Congratulations to Gold Award recipients: Maya Jedzejczak, Megan Loh, Emma Mabry, Khira Mistry, and Rebeca Oropeza. Congratulations to Silver Award recipients: Taylor Adams, Samantha Davis, Melody Erb, Sonia Gallegos, Alysa Huang, Hannah Hyan, Amya Iannone, Kaya Jedrzejczak, Brooklyn Kame, Sydney Kim, Caitlyn Konecne, Ashley Lopez, Malia May, Grace May, Karissa Molinaro, Darby Nicholson, Delaney Renaud, Kiera Riley O’Connell, Izzy Rodriguez, and Morgan Shaffer. These are the highest awards a Girl Scout Cadette and a Girl Scout Senior/Ambassador can receive. Congrats on a job well done, girls!
