Mrs. Olson and Mrs. Riggio’s 3rd grade classes at Lakeview Elementary School recently celebrated their love of reading on Read Across America Day! The teachers set aside time to flashlight read in their camping themed classroom. Students dropped everything and read as they found a comfortable spot to cozy up to one of their favorite books. Some students enjoyed reading outside while others found a quiet place to dive into their adventure novels. To add a little silliness to reading, candid pictures were taken of students using props from a Dr. Suess photo booth displayed in class. Great job, Lions!
