Wagner Elementary School’s 6th-grade students layered on coats and gloves to spend the week in the mountains along with 6th-graders from Sierra Vista and Brookhaven elementary schools. They hiked up to the summit on the Wind Walker trail, learned a multitude of reasons to preserve the wonders of nature, and got to meet furry friends like Andre the chinchilla. Many friendships were forged on this unforgettable getaway to outdoor science camp.
