On Thursday, September 15, Valencia High School’s LINK Crew and LINK Crew teachers hosted their annual freshman tailgate prior to the Varsity Football game versus West Covina High School later that night. It was a very popular event with games and school spirit. Freshmen had fun learning about school spirit and also connecting with their LINK Crew mentors.
Valencia High School’s culinary classes made quesadillas and elote for all in attendance. After several rounds of a water balloon toss and learning some cheers, all freshmen in attendance were allowed to enter the varsity football game to lead the Tigers to victory. Over 300 students were in attendance for this great opportunity to connect with Valencia High School!
