Congratulations are in order for Esperanza High School’s girls varsity basketball team for winning the 2022 Nā Wāhine Pā‘ani O Punahou Basketball Invitational. The tournament took place November 30 – December 3 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Aztecs beat four local Hawaiian teams (Punahou, Moanalua, Hilo, and Damien) on their way to the tournament championship. The championship game went into overtime and the girls persevered with a victory of 61-53. Way to go, EHS!
