Esperanza AVID students hear from two professionals in the criminal justice industry

Podcaster Niki Sharpe from “Body to Burial,” a podcast that looks at various jobs in the true crime field, talked to Esperanza High School AVID classes about her experience of developing an interest in to a career.

In the school’s senior AVID class, she spoke with Gary Noesner, Chief of the FBI’s Crisis Negotiation Unit and author, about his job, especially his involvement with the infamous Waco hostage crisis. Noesner’s final thoughts he left with the students were, “In all areas of your life, whether a relationship or a career, it helps to be a good listener.”
