Did you know over 800,000 animals are brought to shelters every year in California? The Lakeview Lions knew they could help! The school’s leadership group, The Sunshine Squad, encouraged all students to “Raise a Paw and Help a Furry Friend.” The students brought in over 180 new dog and cat toys, blankets, and towels. All the items have now been donated to local animal rescues and foster organizations that help animals find their “fur”ever homes. Way to help our furry friends, Lions!
