El Dorado High School’s exchange students dined out at the Pizzeria Fuoco in downtown Fullerton on Wednesday, January 11. Also in attendance to enjoy the festivities was our very own and well-respected World Languages Department Chair and Spanish teacher, Señora Linares.
As for Fuoco, the owner is from Naples, Italy, and is well known for making authentic Neapolitan pizza. The Italian exchange students even vouched for its authenticity. After the dinner, the students capped off the evening with delicious Italian sweets such as cannoli, tiramisu, and Nutella pizza.
Overall, it was another exceptional evening with great camaraderie, great food, and a great atmosphere according to club advisor and teacher Dr. Gregory Beckman. Most rewarding of all is that the exchange students were very grateful for this opportunity.
