An El Dorado High School video production graduate from the Class of 2013 has a live-action short film officially up for consideration at this year’s 2023 Academy Awards. Following her time at El Dorado, Brianna Devons attended film school at the University of Southern California.
Brianna wrote, directed, and produced the film On the Line based on her personal experience with a suicidal loved one. The trailer for the short film is linked below.

The film itself is not available yet for public viewing online as it is now being screened for academy voters in selected theaters. Great job, Golden Hawk!
