Rose Drive Elementary School third graders were treated this past week to a very special guest bearing very special gifts. For several years now, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (also known as the Elks) has been donating dictionaries for all third graders in the district. This year, Jack Ehlers from the Elks visited Rose Drive to present one brand new dictionary to every third grader. The students were so grateful for this very generous gift, evidenced by the way they immediately began to peruse the contents, excitedly exclaiming the words they found in the process. A very special thank you to the Elks and Jack Ehlers for this generous gift – one we know students will treasure and make use of in the coming years.
