The Italian exchange students of El Dorado High School and teacher Dr. Beckman visited The Richard Nixon Library & Museum on December 2. Exchange students had the opportunity to learn about the 37th President of the United States and his impact on domestic and foreign policy, as well as his downfall with Watergate. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day, as it was a great learning experience for all.
Pictures include “President Beckman” and his “Italian Cabinet” in the Oval Office working on domestic and foreign policy and a snapshot of the group at the Great Wall of China with President Nixon and the First Lady. They are also pictured in front of President Nixon’s birthplace and the helicopter that Nixon departed on at the White House after his resignation in August 1974.
