El Dorado High School Athletic Director Named 2025 Southern Section Athletic Director of the Year

The Athletic Director at El Dorado High School,Ray Elliott, has been named the 2025 Southern Section Athletic Director of the Year, representing Orange County for the California State Athletic Directors Association (CSADA). This recognition highlights his exceptional service to the school’s athletic programs and his collaborative work with Athletic Directors throughout Orange County.

Principal David Okamoto, who has worked with Elliott this year, shared his appreciation for Elliott’s dedication. “As the new principal of El Dorado, I’ve seen Ray’s hard work in ensuring that our athletes and programs have the resources they need to succeed,” Okamoto said. “He also plays a key role in leading the Century Conference meetings and has fostered a cooperative atmosphere among the Athletic Directors in the conference.
