Congratulations to Valencia High School advisor Leslie Rose and the school’s Forensics (speech) and Debate clubs for their remarkable performance at the Orange County Individual Events (IE) state qualifiers tournament at El Modena High School on Saturday, Feb. 20. Sophomore Ethan Thio broke all the way to finals as the top seed in both Open Original Advocacy and Impromptu Speaking, ultimately taking home third place in Original Advocacy and first place in Impromptu! Ethan will go on to represent both VHS and Orange County at the state championships in both events in April! Go Tigers!
