On Tuesday, February 3, the El Dorado High School (EDHS) Mock Trial team was named the 2025–26 Orange County Champion following two doubleheader County Finals rounds against University High School. With this achievement, the team will represent both El Dorado High School and Orange County at the California State Mock Trial Finals in March. The championship marks the culmination of an impressive season in the second-largest county mock trial competition in the state.
This title represents El Dorado High School’s ninth Orange County championship and its first consecutive county title, positioning the program as the most successful in county history. Notably, EDHS remains the only school to have earned a county championship in every decade since the inception of Orange County Mock Trial. The team’s continued success reflects the exceptional dedication, preparation, and skill of its students, whose accomplishments are a source of pride for the entire school community as they advance to the state level.
