On Friday, March 6, the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce Foundation recognized Parkview School senior Ava Priebe as its January Student of the Month during a special surprise presentation on campus.
Parkview School Principal Dominique Polchow praised Ava for exemplifying leadership, creativity, and academic excellence within the independent study environment. Her involvement in student leadership and dedication to organizing an art drive reflect a strong commitment to service and creative expression. Balancing the independence of self-directed learning with high academic achievement and artistic talent, Ava is a true role model and a well-deserved Student of the Month.
As part of the Foundation’s Student of the Month Program, Ava received a $100 scholarship presented by Foundation President Anthony Johnson, Treasurer Kevin McCobb, Board Member Lynn Campbell, and Executive Director Susan Wan-Ross. Each month, the program honors an outstanding local high school student who exemplifies academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to community service.
Congratulations to Ava Priebe on this well-deserved recognition for exemplifying the values of leadership, service, and excellence celebrated by Parkview School and the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
