El Camino Real High School Senior Recognized as Chamber Student of the Month

On Friday, May 1, El Camino Real High School senior Jasmin Denova was recognized by the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce Foundation as its April Student of the Month during a special surprise presentation held on campus.

Jasmin’s educational journey is a testament to perseverance, growth, and determination. Beginning high school as a chronic non-attender, she has transformed into a highly motivated student with a strong sense of purpose and a deep appreciation for the opportunity to earn her diploma. While maintaining a high grade point average and excellent attendance, Jasmin also works diligently to help support her family, demonstrating remarkable responsibility and resilience.

Throughout her time at El Camino Real High School, Jasmin has developed meaningful relationships with staff and peers, sought guidance when needed, and consistently led by example. Her positive attitude, commitment to personal growth, and willingness to support others have made a lasting impact on the school community, earning her recognition as a role model among her peers.

As part of the Foundation’s Student of the Month Program, Jasmin received a $100 scholarship presented by Board Member Lynn Campbell, and Executive Director Susan Wan-Ross. The program honors outstanding local high school students who exemplify academic achievement, leadership, character, and service to their communities.

Congratulations to Jasmin on this well-deserved honor. Her perseverance, leadership, and commitment to excellence reflect the values celebrated by both El Camino Real High School and the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce Foundation.
