On Monday, October 12, Valencia High School hosted its annual Future Ready Day, a signature event designed to equip students with the knowledge, resources, and skills needed for college, career, and postsecondary success.
During fourth-period tutorial, students participated in grade-level activities focused on exploring future opportunities and preparing for life after high school. Freshmen engaged in career exploration activities, while sophomores and juniors attended a college fair to learn about higher education pathways. Seniors participated in college application and financial aid workshops and had opportunities to connect with military representatives to explore additional postsecondary options.
The event concluded with a celebratory barbecue for the senior class, hosted by Valencia High School staff and the VHS PTSA, recognizing students’ hard work and accomplishments.
Future Ready Day reflects Valencia High School’s ongoing commitment to providing meaningful experiences that empower students to make informed decisions about their futures and confidently pursue their academic and career goals.
