During the 2016-2017 Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Leadership Symposium at the district’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) and El Dorado High School, this short video was shown to all attendees. Featuring three student-musicians from the district — Kyle Gabriel, Emalee Takashima and Tyler Beeuwsaert — it showcased their musical abilities and educational experiences. Then, after the video ended, the three students appeared on stage together to perform “Nature Boy,” a song first recorded by American jazz singer Nat King Cole.
