This week, Valadez Middle School Academy students celebrated both DUDE. be nice Week and Red Ribbon Week. These events highlight both the mental and physical health of students, who were encouraged to have fun while taking a stand against bullying, and saying no to drugs. A few of the favorite festivities included high-five tunnels upon arriving to school, spirit wear competitions and exciting lunchtime activities. The week concluded with over 600 students signing a pledge to be drug free!
