On Friday, October 10, the PYLUSD Middle School Athletes (MSA) volleyball season came to an exciting close with a championship tournament held at Esperanza High School. After six weeks of focused practice and competitive interdistrict scrimmages, the top boys’ and girls’ teams from each of the district’s six comprehensive middle schools competed for the prestigious title of PYLUSD MSA District Champion.
In an exhilarating finale, the boys’ team from Tuffree Middle School emerged victorious over the Orange County School of Computer Science, while the girls’ team from Yorba Linda Middle School secured their championship title by defeating Tuffree Middle School.
A special thank-you goes to Esperanza High School’s girls’ volleyball team for graciously hosting the event, and congratulations to all participating teams for their dedication, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the season!
