Ivette Chen, a seventh grader from Kraemer Middle School, recently participated in the International Music Talent Competition 2017. She won second place out of a large field of competitive applicants, and was invited to perform her cello at Carnegie Hall in New York City in April 2017.
Ivette is a straight A student, and is in Kraemer’s gifted and talented education (GATE) program. She is in advanced orchestra with Mr. Bruce Topping, who teaches at Kraemer and Valencia High School.
The American Protégé International Music Talent Competition is open to all instrumentalists (piano, winds, strings, brass, traditional, etc.), vocalists, and traditional folk and jazz groups of all nationalities and countries.
Congrats Ivette!
