Spanish students at Esperanza visit historic Olvera Street in LA

On Wednesday, Nov. 2, Spanish 3 students at Esperanza High School visited historic Olvera Street in downtown Los Angeles. Students enjoyed the morning experiencing Latin culture while viewing Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) displays and presentations, visiting historical museums, and interacting with street vendors selling their traditional items. Over 50 students participated in the event, and a good time was had by all!
