Sierra Vista students collect over 1,200 items during food drive

Sierra Vista Elementary School collected over 1,200 items for the Food For Families food drive this November. Thirty students in Sierra Vista’s GLEE (Great Leaders Every day in Every way) Leadership Academy helped lead the drive by collecting food from all classrooms, as well as organizing the donations. Sierra Vista Eagles are proud that these items will be given to the district’s McKinney-Vento program for distribution to less fortunate families in the community!

The PYLUSD McKinney-Vento program provides food to families in our district who are experiencing homelessness, or who are living in transition. If you’d like to donate, contact Jon Matson at 714-986-7028.
