Students in Glenknoll Elementary School’s leadership class have been busy as elves this past month as they organized a school-wide holiday food and toy drive. This charitable event, which helps the Family Support Network, is Glenknoll’s way of giving back to the community. The Fullerton-based Family Support Network provides services and resources that help children with special needs reach their full potential. As bags of food and toys filled the school storage room this past week, the leadership team was able to see their hard work pay off. On Wednesday, Dec. 14, the students filled a pickup truck with all the items that would be donated to families of children with special needs.
