On Friday, Feb. 3, Bryant Ranch School students learned about sustainability, kicking off its Trash Free Lunch Challenge with the help of Grades of Green, an award-winning nonprofit organization. Currently, Bryant Ranch produces seven bags of trash during lunchtime. By the end of the school year, the goal is to reduce this to only two bags of trash. If the school meets its goal in just four short months, it could eliminate over 12,000 pounds of trash! That’s an astonishing amount of garbage that won’t be in our local landfill. Bryant Ranch is excited to “Go Green” with Trash Free Lunch!
