On Friday, March 10, TEDx returned to Valencia High School for the third consecutive year. Thirteen speakers shared experiences, deep thoughts, funny moments, good advice and ideas. The high school was proud to have students from Valadez Middle School Academy and Kraemer Middle School join Valencia students to present on the theme, “Engage.”
From the call of the drum, to unbreakable bonds, students presented on topics like Generation Z and a billionaire cat. Messages of strength through self-awareness and relationships contributed to growth and learning. TEDx motivated, inspired and left the viewers with something to think about.
Congratulations to teacher and TEDx organizer, Tara Filowitz, who coordinated the event. In addition, Dwight Osborne, Rod Boaz, Katy Gerber, Fred Ronquillo and Dan Fenstermaker were essential mentors, tech crew and directors of the event.
Fantastic work, Tigers!
