During Read Across America Week, Lakeview Elementary School Zoomers and Roomers took part in daily activities to amp up their excitement for reading! Students wore green, their favorite hats, mustaches, crazy socks, and even pajamas. Teachers dressed up in silly Dr. Seuss attire. Various activities took place inside and outside of class including Dr. Seuss artwork and outdoor reading while teachers shared stories with inspiring messages of encouragement. Principal Dr. Suena Chang also made her rounds to classes to read engaging, fun filled stories to students. It was a great week dedicated to enhance the love of reading. Awesome job participating, Lions!
