On November 2, Ruby Drive Elementary School students in took a field trip to local Placentia Fire Station 35. Firefighters at the station demonstrated how to put on all of their gear, showed the students every detail of the fire engine itself, took the classes on a tour of the inside of the fire station, and even took group photos next to the fire truck! The Cougars were so excited for the opportunity to ask intelligent questions relating to their new language arts curriculum theme of Government at Work.
The classes that attended were Mrs. Morrill’s second graders, Mrs. Hoff’s second graders, and Mrs. Valerio‘s (Perez) SDC class.
