As a 2nd or 3rd year student in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) band or orchestra classes, musicians have the opportunity to audition for the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association’s (SCSBOA) elementary honor band or orchestra. This year, several PYLUSD students were selected to be a part of the SCSBOA Honor Groups in January.
The young musicians participated in four days of rehearsals in order to put on fantastic performances at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Disneyland Resort area. Congratulations to the following elementary honors musicians:
