School district recognizes its 2018 Employees of the Year at special ceremony

Employee of the Year recognition.

On Tuesday, February 13, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) honored nine certificated, classified, and management Employees of the Year with a special recognition ceremony before the Board of Education meeting.  The 2018 Employees of the Year are Angelina Avila-Perez, Jim Hahn, Roger Galvan, Dori Fregoso, Joe Rivera, Victoria Self, Eron Campuzano, Keith Carmona, and Georgia Danenhauer.

Accompanied by their proud supervisors, supportive colleagues, and adoring loved ones, each Employee of the Year was introduced and shared about by Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, Kevin Lee.  All honorees also had the opportunity to shake hands with the Board of Education and the district’s executive leadership team.

In addition, a video (directly below) was shared recapping February 1, 2018, the day the district announced its “You Are the Advantage” Employee of the Year Awards.  The PYLUSD executive leadership team has a longstanding tradition of surprising recipients at their school sites or departments on “Prize Patrol.”
