On Friday March 23, 33 Bernardo Yorba Middle School students attended a one day educational field trip to Sacramento, the state’s capital. Students had the opportunity to compare what they had learned in their social studies classes about the legislative branch of the Federal government and the state legislature.
The Matadors also went on a guided tour of Governor Leland Stanford’s mansion and the California Railroad museum. It was a long day (4:30 AM to 11:30 PM!), but students enjoyed their time and all returned home safe and sound.
