The R.E.A.C.H. Foundation, in partnership with Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD), held it’s 4th annual Spelling Bee on Saturday, April 14 at the Performing Arts Center. The District-wide “Bee” is sponsored by Placentia Rotary and Yorba Linda Sunrise Rotary Clubs, with additional support provided by The Coder School in Yorba Linda.
Eligible students from 4th, 5th, and 6th grade district-wide gathered to display their spelling skills with confidence. As the day progressed and the words became more difficult, the excitement grew and accolades were felt by all.
It was clear that PYLUSD students are being prepared for success now and in the future!

4th GRADE WINNERS
1st Place – Zoe Zubia, Brookhaven Elementary

All winners received a trophy and a certificate from The Coder School in Yorba Linda for free coding classes.
As a side note, R.E.A.C.H. was proud to have had their event t-shirts printed by Yorba Linda High School’s Commercial Art class under the direction of Ms. Kelly Fritz.
