Bulldog run and family fun at Glenview Elementary

Glenview Elementary celebrated a day of fitness fun with a “Bulldog Run and Family Fun” event on Friday April 13.  Students participated in two stations, including walking/running of laps and a Zumba dance station, and parents and families were invited to join in the fun!

Glenview student leaders in fourth, fifth, and sixth grade assisted Principal Ramos in leading choreography at the Zumba Dance station and parents helped cheer runners on.

Glenview scholars raised donation pledges from their family and friends in support of the spring fundraiser event. Together, the Glenview community raised over $12,000 in support of the school! The 10 top fundraisers school-wide received a special prize basket, donated by Glenview teachers, staff and parents, along with a wide array of other prizes to promote school spirit such as Bulldog Run t-shirts, Glenview water bottles and key chains.

“Glenview Elementary thanks the PTA and every member of the Glenview community who supported the memorable event and successful fundraiser for the school!,” shared proud principal, Alondra Ramos.
