Yorba Linda future business leaders compete at CA Leadership Conference

YLHS FBLA.

The weekend of April 14 and 15, Yorba Linda High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) participated in the California State Leadership Conference in Ontario.  Twenty FBLA members competed in a variety of different events focusing on various aspects of Career Technical Education. Students that place in the top 4 at this level of competition qualify to represent California at the National Leadership Conference in June in Baltimore Maryland.

The Mustangs earned the following accolades:

Rachel Allsup & Sydnie Chin, 3rd place Digital Video Production

Wayne Chan , 1st place Impromptu Speaking

Sarah Chen, Janet Han & Alice Ding, 3rd place Introduction to Business Presentation

Dylan Shih, 3rd place Introduction to Financial Math

FBLA at YLHS.
Also, Emily Remer was inducted as an FBLA State Officer representing the Southern Section.  Emily will be leading the Southern Section in the 2018-2019 school year as president. Southern Section of FBLA has over 40 high school chapters of FBLA.
