PYLUSD students take the stage on “America’s Got Talent”

On Tuesday, September 4, three Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) students performed in the semifinal round of the popular television show, “America’s Got Talent” (AGT)!

For millions of viewers, Kelsey Dietz of Yorba Linda High School, Ellen Weston of Valencia High School, and Kaila Gibbons of Travis Ranch School sang as a part of the Voices of Hope Children’s Choir. The show began at 8 p.m. and aired on NBC, channel 4.

Following an impressive performance by the young singers, the group was eliminated at the very end of the results show on Wednesday, September 5.

Founded in 2015, Voices of Hope Children’s Choir is a non-profit program made up of over 70 talented children, ages 5-17, of all backgrounds and levels of experience.
