In late October, kindergarten classes at Rio Vista Elementary School took a field trip to Chapman University. The students were given a walking tour of the campus from current Chapman students. The kindergartners we’re excited to see and learn about the different parts of the campus. They saw the dorms, library, pool, stadium and different academic buildings. The students learned of various clubs and activities that are held on campus, and even got to see a Halloween costume and pumpkin carving contest that was taking place. Students were amazed to see Chapman students walking on campus, and were inspired to do well in school every day so that they can attend college after high school, too.
