Congratulations to Valencia High School (VHS) senior, Lauren Mard, on being selected as a 2019 Edison International Scholar. Edison International awards $40,000 college scholarships to very competitive high school seniors to help them follow their dreams in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM), as well as empower them to change the world.
Lauren is a dual International Baccalaureate (IB), Val Tech Academy diploma candidate at VHS and has been very active in leadership with the Robotics and CyberPatriots teams.
Lauren plans to put this scholarship to good use by focusing her university studies in Virtual Reality – Computer Engineering. Congratulations, Tiger!
