Peer leadership recently hosted an amazing, first ever Lip Sync Battle at Bernardo Yorba Middle School. Over 130 students represented their programs including vocal music, theatre, ASB, and peer leadership. The 22 act show featured music ranging from Disney theme songs to Hamilton.
The event generated approximately $1,600 for these respective programs. It was a fun, outstanding school and community event which brought the house down. Bernardo Yorba’s first Lip Syn Battle was made possible by teachers Mr. Kish, Mr. Fenton, and Ms. De Friese for advising such awesome programs. Expect the Matador momentum to continue throughout the school year and beyond!
