EHS AVID freshman receives Angels Scholarship

Esperanza High School’s very own AVID freshmen Edwin Contreras Sanchez is an Angels Scholarship recipient. Becoming an Angels Scholar is a great honor as students from over 65 middle schools apply for this recognition. Scholars were awarded a $10,000 scholarship that was placed in a trust by the Angels Baseball Foundation. Angel Scholars will receive the scholarship upon graduating from high school and acceptance to a four-year college or university. Way to go, Aztec!
