PYLUSD Transportation Department supports Placentia Heritage Day Parade

Did you know? Each year a member of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District’s transportation department drives a bus carrying the Board of Education and Superintendent in the Placentia Heritage Day Parade? This year, bus drive Denise (pictured) transported the district leaders through the parade route. Other members of the transportation department shuttled bands, guards, and parade goers back and forth to help support the event.

“It is always a fun Saturday for our team as we get to transport the various school marching bands to and from the parade to show off their skills and hard work, Jeff Vogt, Driver Instructor shared. “And it’s always fun to see one of our school buses in the parade!”
