Valencia High School students team up to host benefit concert in support of nonprofit Guide Dogs of American

Benefit concert

Valencia High School students Thomas Wu and Kerry Wang (pictured above), accompanied by eight other local high school students, recently hosted a benefit concert to support Guide Dogs of America. The concert took place in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Performing Arts Center at El Dorado High School. Guide Dogs of America is a nonprofit organization that trains service and guide dogs for visually impaired individuals, veterans, and children with autism.

The high school students were able to raise over $10,000 from the concert sale. Net proceeds from the concert sale will go to Guide Dogs of America. This is Thomas’ third year with the non-profit organization Giving Harmony. Last year, with the help of Thomas and others, the nonprofit raised over $10,000 for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).
