Michael Giuntini from UBS Financial recently contacted the Family Resource Center in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) to deliver a donation of completely stocked backpacks for McKinney Vento High School students.
The backpacks were put together by a team of employees from UBS who wanted to give back to their community by providing for low income students who needed help starting school. “We are thrilled as always to be working with outside organizations in our community who have the goal of helping our students who need assistance,” stated Jon Matson, PYLUSD’s McKinney Vento Homeless Liaison. “The students are thrilled when they come through our office and they receive a backpack and school supplies to start the year off right!”
