Family Resource Center Continues Annual Partnership with Second Harvest of Orange County for Food Distribution Events

Second Harvest of Orange County, in collaboration with the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Family Resource Center, continues to offer a twice monthly fresh produce and canned/packaged food distribution at both Topaz and Melrose elementary schools.

Jon Matson, PYLUSD’s McKinney Vento Homeless Liaison, stated, “We are so grateful to Second Harvest of Orange County for their continued support of our most vulnerable students and families. We are also so fortunate that members of the Rotary Club of Yorba Linda join us for each distribution to help us organize and hand out the food. We love our community volunteers!”

Parents, students and other community members are welcome to join at any of the upcoming events.  Participants are encouraged to bring a cart to collect all of the food that they receive.
