Brookhaven Elementary School fifth graders participated in a “Walk Through the American Revolution” program last week. This was an exciting experience for students, as history came to life. They got to reenact parts from the Revolutionary War, and dress as famous historical people.
Students had been preparing for this program for the past month, as they worked in teams to prepare skits, as well as their individual character parts. It was great to see Brookhaven teamwork in action as students worked together to create props and sets.
The day of the Walk Through was fun for all, and every student looked spectacular in their costume. Even Mrs. Walls, a fifth grade social studies teacher, dressed up to have fun with her students. Great job Brookhaven fifth graders!
